Pier Street is the birthplace of the town of Campbell River and is still one of the most vibrant and active areas of town. From the Maritime Heritage Centre and Discovery Fishing Pier to the tip of Ostler Park, this area is what Campbell River is all about.

Pier Street hosts the Cadillac Van Isle 360, one of BC's premier sailing races and the only one to circumnavigate Vancouver Island. Formerly held at Discovery Harbour Centre and Dscivery Harbour Marina, this will be hte first time that the event will be brought into the downtown for its brief visit.

Campbell River and the Pier Street Association welcome the Seven Seas Mariner to the City's new cruiseship dock. This is the first visit of cruiseships to the new dock after years of sailing by our city by hte sea. The Pier Street Association has organized tours and festivities for all guests and crew.
