Pier Street Salon & Day Spa doubled its premises in Spring 2010, by taking over the space of former H&R Block. At the same time they expanded their services from Salon and Airlie Electrolytics & Aesthetics into a full fledged Wellness Centre with Massage (Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Therapy, Registered Shiatsu Therapy, Reflexology and Reiki) and an Infrared Sauna.

Inge & Jurgen Kettler expanded their existing business into the premises of former Qualico & Cross Stitch. Now, after 10 years, the Needle & Arts Centre has establisched itself as one of the leading yarn stores in North America.
