LATEST NEWS
December 21, 2009 Markets are Over!
The Pier Street Christmas Markets are over!!
ChristmasMarket manager Jim Creighton says that all three markets were very busy. “The Maritime Heritage people really
knocked themselves out to provide us with a beautiful setting, and the nautical mix gave the market a great feel. Our
vendors were really varied and we had the entire building stuffed to its maximum, with just enough elbow room. Even
Santa had a busy day.
Thanks to all of our wonderful vendors, our farmers, and of course our customers who all seemed to enjoy themselves.”
December 7, 2009
The first of the three Pier Street Christmas Markets was a great start: A quality selection of more
than 50 vendors, more than 650 visitors, many content vendors as well. Lots of kids saw Santa in his den, next to the BCP45,
and got their pictures with him taken.
Jim the
Christmas Market manager sez…”Wow, did we have a successful market! Maybe it was because we
had the REAL Santa, who knows, but all of the vendors were great, and more than we expected. More visitors too.
Next week there will be even more!”
See you next Sunday!!
November 27, 2009
Santa was seen checking out the location of the Pier Street Christmas Markets and --- he liked it. "This
will be my very special place in Campbell River to meet the children" he said and disappeared until his official arrival
in town on December 4th. Meet him for a photo with him on the 6th!!

The Power of
Positive Words – Dr. Phil Minnaar
Phil says: This is a unique
book. It contains only words with positive connotations. The Power of Positive Words can be used
to cultivate a positive outlook on life or to find inspiration in difficult times. One can work systematically through the
book by choosing specific words and deliberately putting them into action for a week or two or more. Check out my web site http://www.thepositivedictionary.com!
